EcoMaris’ Board of Directors governs and supports the organization while providing strategic direction for all of its operations. Our board is made of creative and experienced professionals from diversified backgrounds. Together, they help EcoMaris assess priorities as well as business and management practices under different angles. The Board meets on a regular basis throughout the year. Our directors are all volunteers who commit to a renewable, 2-year mandate.

In addition to her precious knowledge of sustainable development and the maritime industry, Marie-Andrée Giguère brings energy, humour and a joie de vivre to the table, making business decisions anything but boring. She is a definite asset to our team and we are proud to have her on board.

Trained as Master Mariner and Economist, Alain aslo works as a Teacher, a Researcher and the Director of the Institut maritime du Québec. In addition, he currently acts as the Executive Director of Administration for the Laurentian Pilotage Authority.
